As I write this post I’m listening to the Idose’s Inspiration track ( to help me get the creative juices flowing for this post :P ).  Idose is a website offering streams of Binaural beats for anyone to listen to for free.

This website was recommended to me by my internets obsessive boyfriend Rob. He also shared with me  a few weeks  ago an blog post titled 10 Keys to a Successful Romantic Relationship from Stepcase Lifehack blog.  The author’s  romantic suggestions in my opinion are a must read for any one in a relationship.

I also found some other gems on the blog like  Back to basics: Procrastination- The good, the bad and the ugly ( since I planned on writing this post a week ago… I really needed procrastination advice.)

Anyway, next time you are feel like procrastinating mentally exploring check out those two websites… and waste your time in a semi-productive way :)

Love the new template! I’ve been using iDose more and more lately, and I’m really hoping they get some downloadables up there soon. (I’d love them on an iPod!)

Today is Blog Action Day, ( which I only found out an hour ago) a day where Bloggers are dedicating their time to promote environmental issues.

For Pagans and people who follow an Earth-based Spirituality, environmental issues hold a special place in our hearts. It is the aspect that I admire most about my path. We have such a unique connection, love, respect and compassion for the Earth. So many religions and faiths are often unbalanced in their concern for How to get to the Afterlife. They approach the Earth, nature and earthly matters with indifference or worse label such elements as unimportant or sinful. Pagans on the other hand see the spirit— the ‘holiness’ of the Earth, its trees, its plants, its creatures, its soil. To Pagans we are not the rulers of the Earth, we are its sons and daughters. In fact, we are the Earth and the Earth is us. We are grateful for our Mother Earth who gives us all that we can desire: food, shelter, beauty and even purpose. As the Earth’s creatures it is our purpose to be the Earth’s consciousness, it’s heart, it’s soul and its protector. It’s not a matter of should we be her protectors, We need to be because as Alan watts so elegantly stated, ” We do not “come into” into this world; we come out of it, as leaves from a tree. As the ocean “waves,” the universe “peoples.” Can leaves be healthy on a sick tree? Are there waves without its Ocean… are the waves at all separate from their waters? We are the waves, the oceans, the trees, the winds. And all the wonders of the nature dwell in us. Be grateful for our mother—Be Kind and gentle with her.
